If we make any material changes to the privacy statement, we will notify you in advance. **Data used by Renteobligatie** Renteobligatie processes personal data that it receives from its clients or other stakeholders as part of its business relationship with them. If this is necessary to provide its services, Renteobligatie also processes personal data obtained from public sources, such as trade registers, the press and the internet. The personal data concerned are: - personal details: name, address, contact details, date of birth, place of birth and nationality; - identification data, including passport details and tax identification number; - authentication details, including signature. **Purposes and legal basis of the processing** Renteobligatie processes personal data for the following purposes: *Performance of an agreement:* the processing of personal data is necessary for the management of the investment funds in which the client invests. *Based on your consent:* personal data may be processed to the extent that you have given consent for specific purposes, for example sending reports and newsletters. You can withdraw your consent at any time. *Based on legal obligations:* Renteobligatie must comply with various legal obligations, for example under the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Act (Wwft), the Financial Supervision Act (Wft) and tax legislation. The processing serves, among other things, client acceptance, compliance with the duty of care towards clients, identity checks, the prevention of fraud and money laundering, and compliance with (tax) control and reporting obligations. **Providing data to third parties** Renteobligatie provides personal data to third parties if and to the extent that this is necessary to perform the agreement with you. Renteobligatie engages third parties that support its business operations, and these parties process personal data in doing so. Renteobligatie selects these parties only after careful investigation and requires them to take appropriate information security measures. In principle, personal data is passed on to third parties only if the law requires it, there is a legitimate interest, the client has given consent, or Renteobligatie is otherwise authorised to provide the data. Recipients may include government bodies and institutions, such as tax and supervisory authorities. Sometimes it is necessary to transfer personal data to parties outside the European Economic Area (EEA) in order to provide services to you or perform the agreement. Renteobligatie does this only if an adequate level of protection for the personal data is guaranteed or a specific exemption applies. **Security of data** Renteobligatie and its authorised delegates use well-secured systems and continuously take measures to prevent misuse of your data. Their employees have received clear instructions on how to handle your data. **Retention of your personal data** Renteobligatie and its authorised delegates do not retain your personal data for longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and processed. In doing so, they observe the legally required retention periods. The retention period may be extended if there is an ongoing complaint, procedure or (criminal or supervisory) investigation regarding the (former) relationship. After that, personal data are deleted periodically. **Data protection rights** You have the following rights regarding the use of your personal data: 1. You can request information about the data processing and an overview of your personal data. 2. You can ask Renteobligatie to correct or supplement personal data that is incorrect or incomplete. 3. You can request that certain data be deleted if you no longer want Renteobligatie to keep it on record. We will comply with your request unless doing so would violate laws or regulations. 4. This document explains how your data is used. You can ask Renteobligatie at any time to restrict the use of your data, and you can object to the processing. 5. You can ask Renteobligatie to forward your data to a third party. To submit a request, send an email to [info@renteobligatie.nl](mailto:info@renteobligatie.nl). We will respond as soon as possible, and in any case within one month of receipt. Handling a request is free of charge unless it places an exceptional burden on Renteobligatie. In that case, Renteobligatie will tell you in advance what costs will be charged.
